3. What if the doctor says I need to be seen in person?
If the doctor determines that a physical examination or additional tests are required, they will clearly inform you and provide guidance. If you wish, we can help arrange an in-person appointment at Centro Médico Badal to ensure continuity of care.
4. Is the electronic prescription valid at any pharmacy?
Yes, absolutely. The electronic prescription issued by the doctor is official and valid at all pharmacies throughout Spain.

Payment is made securely through the Doctoralia platform at the time you confirm your booking, using the available payment methods (typically credit or debit card).
6. When is a video consultation NOT appropriate?
Video consultations are not suitable for medical emergencies (such as severe pain or serious difficulty breathing). In those cases, please go directly to the emergency department or call 112.

7. Does my health insurance cover online consultations?
Our video consultation services are private. Some health insurance providers may offer reimbursement for telemedicine services, but this varies. We recommend checking directly with your insurer.

8. Can I get a sick leave certificate through a video consultation?
No. Sick leave certification is subject to specific regulations and may vary by case. Generally, an in-person assessment at your public health centre or CAP is required for an initial leave or certain situations.

No. Medical appointments are only available for adults registered in the system. We cannot process appointments for someone other than the person listed in the account.
